OSSDrop is a curated home for open-source tools — a community-maintained directory where makers drop their own tool with a single submission. Every entry is a real open-source project: a public repository, an OSI license, and an honest one-line description.
It exists to be a neutral, un-gatekept place to discover and share open-source software. Rankings come from real engagement — upvotes and comments from signed-in people. Promoted or boosted placements are always clearly labeled and never change the rankings.
OSSDrop lives in three places: this website, the curated list on GitHub (the source of truth), and the r/OSSDrop community.
